Buscema Gastronomia has been active since 1987 and specializes in the sale of food products based on plants and meats. Since then, it has been one of the first Italian companies to have launched a new way of representing classic preserves as well as in glass jars as well as vacuum- packed and refrigerated products. This method mainly aims to speed up the distribution process, in order to deliver a product that always remains fresh and fragrant, due to its organoleptic characteristics
However, the Buscema family made its debut in the world of gastronomic tradition much earlier, in 1966, when the pioneer Luigi Buscema emigrated to Piedmont. After many difficulties and after working for a few years at a well- known Piedmontese food company, he decided to set up his own business. He began to establish himself in Turin by selling gastronomic specialties made by him personally and by the passion that animated him, then handed down from father to son.
We can define Luigi Buscema as a real “pioneer”, one of those who wanted to take a step forward in the food sector. In fact, despite the success achieved in Northern Italy, the homesickness was so strong that in 1982 he felt the need to move his renowned b usiness to his hometown. At first he began with the preparation and sale of retail products, and then slowly moved on to the transformation, both of the company and of the products. Over the years, the company has also expanded abroad.
These are the words spoken by the founder of the company in an interview a few years ago and through those words it is possible to see not only the experience, but also the great passion that lies behind every single day of work at Buscema Gastronomia.
