Company Description
Founded in 1998 by the master cheesemaker Favero Fernando and his son Nicola, Caseificio Montegrappa is a young, modern and innovative firm, simultaneously maintaining the legacy of the traditional Veneto cheesemaking.
To this day, it produces those products rooted in the history of the Massiccio del Grappa, the “Morlacco del Grappa” and the “Bastardo del Grappa”, which, from the depopulation of the mountainous regions, are at risk of being lost.
We founded Caseificio Montegrappa in 1998, specializing in the production of iconic cheeses, dating back to the old veneto cheesemaking tradition such as the “Morlacco del Grappa”, “Bastardo del Grappa” and “Vecia Mastea”.
Throughout the years, we have expanded our production adding new products and craft making techniques, offering a wide range of both mature and very fresh cheese.
