Company Description
Bea Srl was set up in 1964, and after many years of constant technological evolution is now considered one of the most important companies in the world for production of bolting materials (stud-bolts, nuts, hex bolts, cap screws and special fasteners) for the energy industry.
Bea’s production capacity is approximately 400 tons per month, from the smallest to the largest dimensions commonly used in bolting materials, from ¼” to 8” Imperial and from M6 to M200 Metric. Bea’s product profile also includes the manufacture of special items to the customer’s own specific drawings, for which Bea is equipped with the most sophisticated machinery available on the market.
In recent years Bea has focused on the constant increase in demand of exotic materials, and is now the market leader in the supply of bolting in nickel-alloys, stainless and super-duplex.
This in particular is thanks to our state-of-the-art forging and heat treatment plants, with eight presses and six furnaces.
In-house laboratory and testing
Bea is located in the vicinity of Milan; an ideal position for European and overseas shipments and easy access by customers for the rigorous inspection and testing required by today’s projects. All testing activities at Bea are executed in-house, including all destructive and non-destructive testing.
The fact that Bea’s production and testing take place in-house guarantees total control on the quality and integrity of our products, and on the delivery times agreed with the customer.
Worldwide distribution
Bea’s stock is approximately 2,800 tons of raw material and 1,500 tons of in-house produced finished items. For the North Sea area we also have a large distribution centre in Holland (Bea Nederland BV), where standard and exotic grades of stud-bolts and nuts can be supplied with very quick deliveries.

Bea is specialised supplying major projects and we are proud to be among the official suppliers of some of the most important international companies, such as Shell, Chevron, BP, KCO, Tengizchevroil, Total, ENI, Woodside, Aramco, , Reliance, etc., and major EPC contractors including KBR, JGC, SK Engineering, Saipem,, Larsen & Toubro, Fluor, Petrofac, NPPC, Foster Wheeler, etc.
