Company Description
Flott was born in 1980, in a little village near Palermo, in the middle of the Conca d’oro beach, a site that is very famous in Sicily.In this place , starting 20/30 years ago, many little producers born here because the fishing and the agricolture were very rich and important.
Our company, started its activities in this period and, included in this scenario, during the time it has improved itself with know-how and update tecnologies.
Flott has implemented new product and today it is recognised by consumer, with the typical qualities of the handmade producer , but with the philosophy of the modern industries , able to realise with success the link between the past and the future of these market.
Quality is an important value for our company and that’s why we are BRC and IFS certified, the goal of the certification is to assure that the product are realized in the respect of the requirements of food safety;
We have 6 factories to ensure various kinds of products to our customers.
We care a lot of value on sustainability, in fact our product line is certified friend of the sea and our line of anchovies from the Cantabrian Sea is MSC certified.
Our products range from the 48g can of anchovies to the 1.7kg catering jar, but we also produce larger formats so that we can meet the needs of all our customers (from supermarkets, to restaurants or pizzerias).
We export to over 40 countries, 55% of our turnover is for G.O. and the D.O in Italy.
