GE.FIM: Excellence in Composite Materials

GE.FIM operates in the composite materials sector through three main divisions:

Composite Division

This division offers a wide range of materials designed for vacuum moulding, vacuum infusion, and autoclave processes for sectors such as aerospace, marine and automotive. In addition, some of our products are used consolidating marble blocks and electrical applications. Customers can request customized items and kits, including vacuum bagging films, spiral nets, peel ply, resin flow mesh, sealant tapes, and glass fibres (MAT, biaxial, and multiaxial). Each item can be cut and packaged in ready-to-use boxes according to customer specifications. 

Fiberglass and Components Division

GE.FIM supports its customers in the design and production of models, moulds, and plugs for various composite applications, including the marine, wind energy, and automotive industries. The company manufactures hybrid models of hulls, decks, and superstructures—up to 47 metres in length—using patterns, planking, and milled blocks. 

Kitting Division

This division specializes in the production of pre-cut kits using materials such as PVC, Balsa, PU, PET, Polyethylene, Delrin, and MDF. The benefits of these kits include optimized fitting, reduced resin consumption, and improved infusion and prepreg applications. By utilizing CNC proprietary cutting profiles, each kit detail can be grooved, drilled, and shaped according to customer-provided drawings.
