FROM A TINY SHOP TO A GREATER VISION

In 2026, Inalme will mark 30 years of activity, growth, and evolution. But the company’s journey started much earlier, in a small herbal shop located in a small town near Catania.

Fabio Impellizzeri began his career as a sales agent and herbalist. Motivated by a strong interest in natural health and a clear entrepreneurial spirit, he and his wife opened their first herbal store in a rented space in a small Sicilian town.

From the beginning, the goal was not just retail, but also the creation of their own line of food supplements, an idea that led to the birth of Alta Natura brand.

In 1999, the company acquired its first plot of land, and by 2001 the first production site was built. In 2004, Inalme launched its contract manufacturing division, established an internal R&D department, and developed the first product portfolio under the Alta Natura brand.

In 2015, following years of investment and the implementation of a structured business plan, the manufacturing site was expanded. Today, it covers a total area of 6,000 square meters, of which 2,500 are dedicated to manufacturing. With this expansion, the manufacturing capacity increased significantly, allowing the company to add cosmetics to its offering and to set up an in-house quality control laboratory. A few years later, Inalme also began the development and manufacturing of medical devices.

Today, Inalme is a well-established company, active in both national and international markets, with a strong reputation for reliability and product quality. Currently, the company employs 65 people across offices, warehouse, laboratory, and manufacturing facilities, serves over 17,000 customers, and exports to more than 25 countries.

This story reflects a business built on strategic choices, continuous investment, and a strong commitment to quality. From a small local shop to an international presence, Inalme continues to grow while staying true to its core values: innovation, customer focus, people’s well-being, natural products, and sustainability.
