Company Description
Brondelloerminio is a family company operating in the wood industry since 1929.
Located in Borgo San Dalmazzo (province of Cuneo, Italy) since then, our sawmill produces wooden floors, antique wood parquet, that can be even conditioned and waterproofed, particularly for bathrooms and kitchens, and then dried in suitable dryers to stabilize them. Furthermore, we have large quantities of beams available to create antique roofs.
All our reclaimed wood can be found in the sea or in the undergrowth where trees have fallen down due to natural causes. We would like in fact to highlight that our wood is not cut down by man’s intervention.
Thanks to the collaboration with important University Institutes, such as Politecnico di Torino (Department of Mechanics), we have developed a production process for cleaning and stabilizing old wood. In particular, it is disinfected by boiling for about 30 days. This allows us to create antique beams, tables and planks to build wooden artefacts, and to restore antique furniture with wood having the same age. Additionally, we produce staircases and stair coverings in the same wood as parquet, wall coverings (i.e 42 types of wood…), suitable both for mountain and city furniture, design tables, and so on.
