Our Company operates since 1973 in the field of the induction heaters, and particularly we manufacture the static converter (of our own design), the heating unit with the relevant coils (of high reliability and efficiency), the handlings units of the material to be heated and mechanical automation.

We are specialized in the manufacture of medium frequency equipment (1 kHz to 8 kHz), with power range 100kW to 8000kW and high frequency equipment (20-50 kHz using IGBT static converters) with power range 50kW to 300kW.

CEFI Technical Department works on the heater mechanical, electronic and electrical design, as well as on the induction coil study and design.

The heaters are assembled by our very skilled staff and are tested in CEFI before delivering to the customer.

Our service engineers are available for a training period to the customer staff during the heater pre-acceptance in our Works.

The CEFI standard product range includes the following induction heater models:

• Billet induction heaters. They are suitable to heat at a forging temperature both steel and nonferrous billets (brass, copper, aluminum, titanium).
• Bar induction heaters. They are suitable to heat bars at a forging temperature and they can:
  • Feed a hot shear;
  • Feed directly an automatic hot-former (Hatebur, Nedschroef, Sakamura).
• Induction heaters for partial heating. They are suitable for partial heating at a forging temperature the bars and the bar cut pieces for the subsequent deformation with horizontal forging machines and screw presses.
• Induction heaters for heating billets at a temperature of 800°-900°C for the warm forging. We can offer induction heaters complete of billet lubrication system, in order to introduce the billets at the right temperature to the forging line, coated with the right lubricating amount.
• Induction heaters for the heat treatment of wire rod and its by-products (with power 200 to 800kW). The main application regards the stabilization of wires, strand and three-wire strands, above all used for pre-compressed reinforced concrete.
• Induction heaters for the temperature restoration of aluminum alloy and copper ingots with power 200 to 1300kW. These heaters are included in continuous casting and rolling lines, for making aluminum and copper wires.
• Induction heaters for brass and aluminum extrusion.
• Induction heaters for tube heating.
• Mechanical automation, special machines:
  • Billet loaders (automatic or semi-automatic ones)
  • Bar loaders

  • Chain conveyors (for row billet, forging parts, scrap parts and flash)
  • Sorting devices of the hot billets
